If you’ve been looking at your options for window signage and graphics in northern New York or Vermont, you should consider how window film can help you.
Windows are very useful spots for signs and graphics. If your business has a front window, it’s usually a good idea to install some kind of sign in it. Window signs typically identify a business, property, or organization by stating the name of the business along with perhaps a logo and/or slogan. Sometimes businesses use windows to display promotional graphics and images.
Window graphics are often less expensive than large, promotional outdoor signs, and they can also effectively supplement such signage to heighten the visibility of your business. Window signs function as outdoor signs because they project outwards, but they’re installed on the inside of the window, thus sparing them from the often-harsh elements we get here in the North Country. However, if you want to display a large graphic or image, you’ll end up blocking your whole window and you’ll be unable to see outside. Unless you use window film.
Many of us are aware of a two-way mirror, but unless you have a background in optics, the effect can seem like magic. Well, window film is very similar. With window film, people outside your business only see a full-scale, vibrant graphic. Inside, however, you can still see outside your window. The main mechanism that allows window film to achieve this effect is with perforations. There are many small holes used in the film, and this allows or the two-way effect.
Window film is great for shopwindows and other large windows, and it’s also useful on vehicle windows. With vehicle graphics, you can turn your work vehicle into a mobile billboard. Vehicle graphics identify your vehicle, promote your business, and they make your vehicle look more professional. If you have a fleet of vehicles, it can give them all a uniform appearance.
Some graphics are so large they wrap around the vehicle and appear on multiple side. These wraps can have their images broken up by the windows on your vehicle. With window film, however, you can even display images on your vehicle’s windows (except not your windshield).
